Our Italian language courses for foreigners are divided into 6 levels, according to the common European framework of reference for languages (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages -CEFR):

COURSES 2020-2021


ORDINARY COURSES (32 ore*) € 290,00

Regular group classes have a modular structure 32 hours * per module, with bi-weekly meetings in classes of 5-8 students **. Designed for those who have to reconcile the study of Italian with work or study commitments, they take place in the afternoon on alternate days. Lessons take place in the afternoon from 15:30 to 19: 10 / Classes are held in the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

  • module 1: from 26 October to 22 December 2020
  • Module 2: from 11 January to 04 March 2021
  • module 3: from 05 March to 06 May 2021

Tuesday and Thursday 17:30 - 19:10 level A1

Monday and Wednesday 17:30 - 19:10 level A2

* (One hour of lesson = 50 minutes)

** If the class is not complete and there are less than 5 students it will reduce the number of hours of teaching, being the most intense lessons.

INTENSIVE COURSES (20 hours per week)


4 hours (50 minutes) of classes per day, in groups of 5-8 students **.

Lessons take place from 09:30 to 13:00, from Monday to Friday / Classes are held in the afternoon from 9:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • It is proposed in bundles of 10 or 20 lessons spread over 1, 2 or 4 weeks. The student can choose the concordandolo time at registration.

Two students of the same level may constitute a class by 2 people, choosing the period and time of the lessons at the time of registration. Are offered in packs of 10 or 20 lessons divided into 1, 2 or 4 weeks.

PLIDA examination technique € 160,00

These encounters are dedicated to those who want to support the PLIDA examination to achieve certification and consists of the examination simulations and acquisition of conducting techniques. It takes place in the two weeks preceding the test date, 3 sessions of 2 hours each.

The PLIDA Certification It is a title of official study, recognized by the Italian State, necessary to foreigners who wish to demonstrate their knowledge of the language for business reasons or study.

SUMMER COURSES (from July to September)

SUMMER COURSES combine Italian language lessons in the classroom with guided tours that allow you to discover this cultural and culinary art of the territory, immersing himself in the style of Italian life. The program allows you to combine a vacation to the opportunity to practice and improve their language skills. The courses take place in the afternoon and lasts 1 or 2 weeks with 3 weekly visits. Suitable for those who already have a basic knowledge of Italian.


Business courses are addressed to employees of companies of the Bologna territory and you can play at school or at the company itself. Are structured with the priority needs of the company, both with respect to the frequency that the language skills to be developed. The program and the duration of the course are flexible and are agreed with the company and/or group of students.

ERASMUS students and affiliated organizations are exempt from the practice management fee (€30,00)

A student of the Dante Alighieri Society may require a document certifying his enrollment in a course, in which the Italian Embassy (or Consulate) of your state of residence and request Visa for study purposes.

Upon receipt of payment, the direction of the courses will release the certificate that specifies the frequency period chosen by the person concerned and with which you will be able to apply for a visa to enter Italy for study reasons. The visa will have the duration of the course.

This procedure is provided for by the Italian law for the diplomatic authorities of the entry visa for study purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS (CEFR -Quadro Common European reference for the knowledge of languages)

LEVEL – Basis

  • A1 – Basic level

You understand and use everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at satisfying the needs of a concrete type. You can introduce yourself and others and you are able to ask questions and respond to personal details such as where they live, people who you know and the things you possess. You interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to cooperate.

  • A2 – Elementary level

Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple exchange of information on familiar topics and common. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her life, surroundings; SA Express direct needs.

LEVEL B – Autonomy

  • B1 – Intermediate level or “of threshold”

Includes key points of family arguments concerning the school, leisure etc. Sa move with ease in situations that may be encountered while traveling in the country that speaks the language. Is able to produce a simple text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Is able to convey experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly explain the reasons for his opinions and his projects.

  • B2 – Upper-intermediate level

Includes the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions on their field of specialization. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes possible a natural interaction with native speakers without strain for either party. SA to produce clear and detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topic and provide the pros and cons of the various options.

LEVEL C – Mastery

  • C1 – Advanced level or “autonomous efficiency”

Includes a wide range of long and complex texts and can recognise implicit meaning. Is expressed with fluency and naturalness. Use language flexibly and effectively for social purposes, professional and academic. Able to produce clear, well constructed, detailed on complex subjects, showing a certain textual structure, control of the connectors and elements of cohesion.

  • C2 – Level of proficiency in complex situations

Includes with ease virtually everything he hears and reads. SA summarize information from different spoken and written sources, renovating the arguments in a coherent presentation. SA express yourself spontaneously, very smooth and precise, singling out the more subtle shades of meaning in complex situations.
