The primary purpose of Società Dante Alighieri, As stated in Article 1 of the bylaws, it is to "protecting and promoting the Italian language and culture in the world, reviving the spiritual ties of compatriots abroad with the motherland and feeding between foreigners love and worship for Italian civilization”.
